Lead seals
Lead seals are the most practical solution when durable security seals are required, providing both unauthorized access control and a high level of security. A special advantage - by choosing these security seals, it is possible to easily and inexpensively mark a small number (batch) of security seals. These lead security seals are widely used in railway transport, the most popular in this industry are 16 mm lead seals. However, these seals are also very conveniently used as meter seals - security seals for digital electricity, water, gas meters, etc. Lead seals are commonly used to seal various types of containers, cylinders, etc.
Lead seals are applied using the similar procedure as roto security seals - a sealing wire is passed through the seal and locked.
It is necessary to use both the sealing wire and sealing rod to apply lead seals.
Seals can only be removed using special tools.
TECHNICAL PROPERTIES:
- Both sealing wire and sealing rods are used to seal lead seals. With the help of sealing rods the locking of lead seals is possible both by leaving the marking (if the seal matrices are personalized) and without leaving the marking (if the seals are not marked).
- Applications of lead seals: electric meters, digital meters, various cylinders and tanks and many other applications
